I just can't fathom how it's not available to SOMEONE at RM in the right department.
Unfortunatly I think the RM's stance on this is that if you lose the receipt it's game over. I should've used a more premium service for such important documents such as a courier company and will do so in the future.

The frustrating thing is knowing that right now on RM's track and trace system is an online copy of exactly what I need...just that I just can't access it!

cheers for all replies
Why use another service when the fault was actually your failing

No need to get defensive and fingerpointy. I'm just stating that if I'd of used a professional courier everything wouldn't be riding on a tiny scrap of paper regardless of who's 'fault' it is.

Also now that I've seen the ridiculously flawed "Special" Delivery tracking system that doesn't even state where the item is going to???? I'm quite surprised. What kind of evidence is that? Just a scribble and not even a confirmed address where said scribble was meant to have taken place!

because it works on a legacy tracking system/hardware
the new tracked service encompasses sender/recipient
mind you, neither system checks your wallet to ensure you havent lost anything

I'm confused. Why does the address matter? Every computer system has a timestamp so as long as you know the time from a credit card receipt then you which parcel is yours, as long as no one else posted a recorded delivery from that post office in that minute?

Also, I'm sure that if a parcel trace was part of a police investigation they'd have no problem finding the relevant information.

Its still relevant. In fact as anything changed in their system in that time?
