I sent a package by Special Delivery on Thursday, and the online tracker is showing that it was delivered and signed for at 4:50am on Friday at the North West Midlands mail centre rather than at the delivery address. It was an application for DLA (Disability Living Allowance) that should have been delivered to the DLA office in Wolverhampton.
Could anyone tell me if this is to be expected on the online tracker or could it be that my package could be lost?
Thanks for any help.

Yes - for DLA and other large government and business agencies its a service Royal Mail offer (for a charge) where we securely process items for them.
It's done in a locked area, by staff trained to do it, and that have gone through a screening process.
If you check this page that address in wolverhampton is the official correspondence address for what looks like the whole UK.
