Can someone help me here.

My item MB922289147GB has been mistakenly sent to Farnborough DO from Jubilee MC three times now. I am pretty sure the address is correct, is there a way to stop this looping between Farnborough DO and Jubilee MC?

Thank you in advance.

Really sorry for the hassle you’ve had!

I can give you a number of reasons why this has happened but that’s not going to help get your item back.

Trying to get an 48tracked item back from jubilee mc will be like looking for a needle in a haystack. It will be easier to find at farnborough which is a 1/100th of the size of jubilee.

As a general rule if an 48 hour tracked item has been dispatched scanned at jubilee in the morning it will be at farnborough the following morning.

My advice would be to get a phone number for Farnborough DO and speak to someone there(a direct number not an 0845 Royal Mail general number) and try to call around 11am -12pm on the day you think your item is at farnborough. A brief description of whether the item is a letter, large letter, packet or box will help narrow the search.

Once again a hassle that’s a bit embarrassing for the company, apologies.

Unless there's a problem with the address printed on it, I'm wondering if its a case of where by postcode it's proper to one office but in practice gets delivered by another office. Is where it's going likely to be on the boundary between the areas covered by 2 delivery offices?

Thank you very much for your kind answers. Assuming Farnborough DO added some notes on the parcel which were not spotted by the Jubilee MC, I guess it is no use contacting Farnborough DO to add any extra note. Let's hope one day they run out of space to write the note and someone finally spot it!

Again, thank you very much for all the helps.
