So sent this item in Belfast as a special delivery on the 16th of october this year and meant to be delivered the next day.
As this is an important parcel I have been religiously tracking the item journey to the receiver. So Saturday I see that my item is placed on retention at the recipient request.
This made me not just nervous but anxious as a result.
Can someone from RM explain what the*** is going on? the receiver's office works weekend and I know RM deliver weekends too...

If you didn`t pay for Special Delivery guaranteed on Saturday, there is a chance it didn`t got to the recipient`s delivery office in time to be delivered on a Saturday or they didn`t had enough staff to deliver it on a Saturday, therefore it has been retained and will be delivered the next working day, on Monday.

RM doesn`t deliver on Sunday`s.
