Good Evening,
Would anyone be able to advise how requesting GPS Delivery Coordinates for Track & Trace works, please?
We have been told by sender that we have to contact our local Royal Mail office as the post person will have GPS Coordinates associated with the delivery.
There has been public statement introducing this:
http://www.cwu.org/wp-content/uploads/2 ... -Trace.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
How does it work? Is receiver able to request this too?
Would anyone know what is the process to get GPS Coordinates, please?

That`s internal to RM as far as I know, when we scan a tracking code with our pda`s/scanners, the manager can see on a map where it was scanned.
If an item is missing, that helps to pinpoint where it was last scanned and who did it.

Also seeing as the person who sent it is classed as the customer it would be the sender who RM would deal with. Personally I would leave it in the lap of the sender as its their responsibility to chase it up, not yours.
If you reallly feel you need to you could get in touch via RM customer service and the local delivery office management will sort it out. They'll see when and where it was scanned and by whom then find out where it has been delivered.
You will need the tracking number.
