USPS parcel in transit Heathrow

Hi

Can anyone tell me the reason my tracking is not updating please?

August 12, 2020, 6:55 am
Departed
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM
Your item departed a transfer airport in HEATHROW, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM on August 12, 2020 at 6:55 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination.

This is an item bought off eBay from the US on the 5th and sent using USPS Priority Express International, i didn't expect to wait this long.

Appreciate any help.

It'll likely be stuck in customs. Customs choose random batches of mail for extra checks and there's probably a back log in customs anyway

So it's perfectly normal for customs to have your item for 8+ days ? I'm a bit worried as this is the first time ordering something from abroad.

Still no update from tracking, Parcelforce tell me it's not even left the US yet, USPS tell me it's with Parcelforce.

Then as pointed out before it most likely has been selected (or its batch has) for extra checks in Customs. Unofrtunately as previously posted delays in there can be anything up to 4 weeks at the moment.

Still the same... "in transit".
Honestly don't think it's turning up, will have to wait till end of September before opening "i didn't receive it" on eBay and getting my money back. Regret not paying extra and using FedEx now.

I have a parcel in transit from the USA, and randomly you are now the 3rd person that has the exact date and time tracking information as myself, as you can see below, my parcel has been floating about since the 13th July and total transit time is now 55days. Wherever your parcel is, my parcel and two others are in the same bag, this is of no comfort to either of us I know, but at least we know our parcels aren'talone

I have been told by both USPS and PF that anything longer then 21 days "in transit" is quite rare, even in the current climate. They told me to contact the sender to file for a claim as a lot of parcels do go missing.
I lost hope for mine quite a while ago, there's just no way it's turning up now.

I am now on transit day 57. The sender was told when it was posted that expect it to take 14-30 days but times may exceed that due to UK backlog in customs. I just never expected to wait almost two months and counting and also find other people whose parcels came in on the same plane.

They can't all be lost can they. especially 2 from the same batch.
