Hello,

I have had a parcel sent from Florida with the tracking below, but it says the following when I track it on USPS.com

May 29, 2020, 3:00 pm
Departed
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM
Your item departed a transfer airport in HEATHROW, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM on May 29, 2020 at 3:00 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination.

I have contacted USPS and Parcelforce but neither have been able to help, it seems a hell of a long time for it to be sitting in Customs, 11 days today, has anyone has this experience, or could it be stuck due to the Covid pandemic and lack of staff?

Mine has been in the same place since May 13th with no movement, no idea who to contact as usps are no help and parcelforce haven’t taken possession yet.

It will be stuck in customs. A quick look round this site shows that lots of people have had items stuck there far longer than that, e.g. https://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communi ... e560392c11" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Customs don't take customer queries.

Yep, I recently had a package from the US spend 15 days stuck in customs...

Patience is what is needed, the pandemic has royally messed things up!

Hi All,

My package has spent 23 days in transit from the US, 16 of which were 'lost' at Heathrow whilst they worked on a backlog.
After losing hope and thinking I lost a valuable item, I finally got an email today that Parcel Force now have possession of it and it is in Coventry awaiting customs clearance.
For those waiting, please hold tight. Your parcel will come through eventually!

Can somebody explain to me why Global Priority Mail & Express Mail parcels are stuck at Heathrow when they are supposed to go to Coventry for CUSTOMS CLEARANCE and delivery? Does it mean Heathrow Customs can hold NOT Royal Mail parcels before they are transported from the airport to PFW International Hub in Coventry for additional checks? PFW customer support people told me UK Border Customs share the same building with them in Coventry so something doesn't make sense here.
