Since this craziness started at the end of march i've worked 76 days and out of those i've only had 4 'normal' days.

WORK TO TIME!!
You'e not alone. I took out 3 days worth of mail today. Never had the fortune of one of these 'easy' Mondays yet - can't see it happening.

Even accounting for the mail already in the frame, I still put another 400 letters in, easily. About 100 packets, and 25 large parcels.

I quite like it, I can prep in my d2ds for the week and stroll around on my route. I know the rest of the week will be hell but it was before the quiet Mondays anyway! its nice to begin the week with a relaxed start.

Why have they cut down on Sunday staff?

(Obviously distancing measures come into it, but why Sunday in particular?)

There's always been less staff on Sundays (and I believe a good chunk of the Sunday staff are OT or maybe SA anyway)

What about people who have other commitments like picking up their children from school?

Sunday overtime is also £5 extra per hour.

It never ever will. They're too thick to realise. Give them 3 deliveries to do they'll just start even earlier and run even quicker.

There are no DSA arrivals into the MC's now on Saturday morning so less staff are needed at weekend as DSA was a large proportion of what they did. The knock on of this is that it will impact on Monday delivery volumes.
