Hi there, I wish to send a normal letter via Royal Mail first class using a regular first class stamp. I have a couple of old vintage (used) stamps which I would like to attach in addition as decoration (maybe in the top left corner?). Would this disrupt/confuse the mailing process?

Yes it would likely slow down its processing as they would have to double-check that the paid amount is valid, even in the extra stamps are invalid. I would not recommend it.
