I sent a letter to South Africa Port Alfred on the 25th June using International signed for and the recipient still hasn't received it, is there any way of finding out where the letter is? Royal Mail website only tells me that it has left the UK and is on its way to the destination country.
I thought it would arrive in 5 - 7 days as stated on the website.
Can anyone tell me if it can take longer and how long would the maximum amount of time be for it to arrive with the recipent and being signed is there anyway of checking who signed for it?
Kind regards

I would estimate another 2 weeks on top just due to the current world situation going based on my other parcels which have left the country.
If you just access Google and look for the delivering agents website in the other country i.e. USPS if sending International Tracked Signed to USA for example or Poland - their website Poczta Polska and type in the RM tracking number there it will pick up the rest of the journey normally?
Knowledge is a treasure but practice is the key to it.

That's a good tracking site for when a item is being sent to a different country

There is no maximum time, as it isn't that kind of service. 5-7 days is the delivery aim, although that is in normal times and most items take longer at the moment, regardless of the country they are going to.

Is there any chance that letters and parcels get delivered but these sites do not update to say so? So even though it looks like it is in transit it has actually been delivered.
