Hi apologize if this has been asked before but I very rarely buy internationally. I brought something for my son who is unwell as a gift. It's a custom painted model very expensive. Only plastic and weighs about 150 grams. It was sent Polish priority registered letter. Left Poland fine one week ago but since then the Royal Mail tracking just says leaving original country? Supposed to be a 3 day delivery time. I understand there are delays at the moment and everyone is hard worked but find it strange It can just disappear off the face of the Earth. And not show as arriving in the UK if anyone could shed any light on this it would be fantastic. It's sort of irreplaceable. even if I get my money back cannot get another. Grateful for any ones time

It's most probably stuck in customs, there won't be another tracking event until it gets released by customs. The randomly choose batches of mail for extra checks, if it's in one of them batches then it'll take longer to clear customs

Also there is quite a large back log in mail centres currently. My item from the USA took a month before the tracking updated. I'm expecting something from Canada now. It left on the 2nd July and no update since. I'm expecting there will be and update about the 3rd of August.
