Hi everyone,
The Home Office (HO) confirmed that my passport was returned on Monday 15/06/2020. Unfortunately, I still haven't received it and today is Thursday 18/06/2020. The HO said that it was returned with 1st Class Royal Mail, which means I should have received it on Tuesday.
HO also said that as my document was returned by 1st Class Royal Mail; there is not a tracking number provided.
I urgently need to travel back to Italy for family reasons and I need my passport back. Please help.

Off the top of my head, the walk/round your address is on has possibly been delayed. Things are taking a couple of days longer in certain areas.
Also some firms mail sometimes takes a day or 2 to be processed before they actually give it to us as well.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Thank you for your reply. Do you think Stockwell SW9 area has been delayed? Also, when should I consider it lost so that I know when to go to my embassy.
