Quick question i've recently had number of special deliveries marked as out for delivery but they never make it to me, postwoman says she never received them and her manager says they never made it to the depot. So question are these scanned at the delivery depot before going out for delivery or the sorting center before hitting the depot.?

They should be scanned into the Delivery Office when they get there. You should be able to see this on your tracking, the tracking information will include the name of your local DO.

I think they might be scanned again when handed over to the postie who does the actual delivery, maybe someone who works for RM can confirm?

Based on the information you supplied, you need to make a claim for all the missing items and make a formal complaint to RM. Details of how to make a written complaint: https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app ... tact/c/310" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks for the reply Rm keep fobbing me off with claim forms and standard replies like talking to a robot.

Confirmed.

They are scanned when they are allocated to a duty. They must be delivered that day unless there is an official retention request.

Thanks for confirming guess next step is to confront the local Do manager because he basically fed me a pack of lies.

That would be counter productive. I would advise making a written complaint to RM.
