I have opened a case via telephone but i'm curious at to others input. I've been waiting for a package for a month from China. Tracking says it was delivered Sat.

I remember Saturday and did receive three items. I opened them immediately and have all the packaging and the elastic band in a pile still! So the item definitely wasn't delivered to me. Even so, I ransacked the house and bins. The customer service told me GPS shows it was definitely on my street.
Now my postman has never misdelivered something in 20 years. I live on a quiet street of 10 houses. We are very friendly with number 10, I am number 9. Number 8 whom we share a driveway with are a whole other story. If they received my item,which is a rather lovely pen, one of their never-ending stream of neglected kids or pets would probably do away with it and Frankly, I am not going round there to ask 'by the way did you receive this 4 days ago and not tell me'.
What is one to do in this situation? I do hate mysteries such as this!

Leave a note on your door and ask your postie to knock and just ask him, maybe he remembers or at least he can tell you something useful.
Maybe someone else delivered in your area that day, hence the mistake, maybe it was delivered to another neighbour or to your house and someone in your household received it and it`s somewhere in the house?
Lots of maybe, I know, I hope you`ll find out the truth :)
