Post code incorrect on my package

Post by wozzza72 »

Hi all

Just looking for some advice. I purchased off ebay and the seller has put my full address correctly but missed a number from my postcode. The postcode given doesn't actually exist so at least it wont be going through the wrong door. It was posted on the 26th May and today is 3rd June so 8 days. The seller didn't put a return address on the pack age either.

First thing, do you think this will actually turn up? What is the best thing to do if it doesn't arrive? Is there a claim dept. I can contact?

Thanks in advance.

If it's the first have of the postcode that's wrong, it might go to thre wrong delivery office but shuld get there (might be 24hrs late). If it's the second part of the postcode that's wrong then it should make it to the correct delivery office. You need to keep in mind that ven items with fully correct post codes are getting held up with backlogs as the volumes of mail going through the system are more like what we'd expect in the run up to Christmas

Thanks for the reply. It was the first part of the postcode. It should be CV31 but was incorrectly input as CV1.

Its been 8 days now!
