I am hoping that someone may be able to shed light on this.
According to the T&T, my parcel from Taiwan arrived at the Langley HWDC on 01 May. There has been no update on the system since then. I’ve spoken to Royal Mail’s customer service, but it does not appear that they know the parcel’s whereabouts, either.
There has been no suggestions that international posts should be “quarantined” before delivery. Am I right to best assume this parcel is lost? Or is there any way to contact the HWDC for clarity?
Any help and advice would be very much appreciated.

Still at Langley HWDC since 01 May?
There is no way to contact HWDC, but they and customs have huge delays because of the Covid Virus (less people to process more parcels).
From posts on here, the delays are longer than usual, especially if customs have picked a particular consignment for extra checks, but they are eventually getting into RMs system and then being delivered. Chase the sender though they can then chase their postal service who can ask for details from Royal Mail themselves.
My best guess at the moment is its not lost just in a huge backlog.

Thanks very much for the information. I will double check with the sender about locating the parcel. Hopefully the parcel’s still on its way, albeit a long(er) wait.
