How to contact customs
A delivery from USPS (United States) was tracked to Heathrow, London on April 12 but nothing since then. I tried to phone Royal Mail but there is no reply at all from their customer services. How can i contact customs to enquire about the status of my delivery?

The short version of the answer is that customs don’t take calls from the public, or contact by any other means.

We have had a few people come on here and claim to have spoken to customs, but despite requests nobody has ever posted the direct dial number they allegedly used. One or two claim to have got through by calling an HMRC number intended for something else and getting put through.
If searching for HMRC numbers, be careful of scammers offering to connect you via a premium rate number.
