"ROYALMAILCHAT: Message board for Royal Mail employees and customers"

It says it right at the top there.

This post should be moved to the 'Customers' board.
I saw a small packet yesterday postmarked April 7th so customers need to be aware that items could take up to two weeks to be delivered at the moment. It is currently far busier than at Christmas time in terms of parcels & packets and we have less staff available due to isolation. In addition we are not allowed to have two posties in a van but Royal Mail will not allow us to hire more vans to compensate. Everything is getting delivered eventually but there are significant delays across the country.
The views I express here are mine alone and do not represent the views of Royal Mail Group.
