Hi All,
i've been privately selling on ebay since 2004 and will always use Royal Mail, i find their customer service impeccable and very reliable. So to have a parcel go missing in all that time isn't bad!
However, iIwas wondering if someone could give me some insight into this one.
Posted a parcel on Tuesday 14th April, Special Delivery by 1pm from Sheffield. I know that the guarantee has changed to 9pm in these current times as the buyer messaged me asking where it was.
The tracking hasn't moved since Tuesday:
10:15am - Accepted at post office
10:44am - Sender Preparing item
6:16pm - item received at Sheffield Mail centre
8:24pm - item despatched to Warrington MC
Is it likely that it will still turn up?
I did put my return address on the parcel. Where do 'lost' parcels end up? Is it worth my time calling Warrington MC?
Tracking no is VE013406225GB.

That number is wrong it should have nine numerical numbers not eight.

There are delays throughout the system due partly down to so many staff being off sick and partly because of it being massively busy, possibly busier than in the run up to xmas
