No, they are seperate. The backpay will be approx £175 and the lump sum is £175. They're not offering extra, the backpay is what we would be earning if this deal is accepted. This is an obvious last ditch attempt to persuade the waverers, which I hope will be seen for what it is.

No they are trying this in my DO basically they are bigging up the back pay and the ESOS payment.
You only get this when (not if) the deal is accepted. To clarify what I mean, eventually a deal will be reached even if we turn down this one so at some point we will get back pay and we should also get the ESOS as well, even if for the moment this deal is rejected.
