Implications on mail after the UK's exit from the EU

Hi,

International tracked and signed for but no updates since the 12th of Dec, please see image:

Pressing the "Continue Tracking" button redirects me to Canada Post website but the reference number does not work, it returns this error message:
We didn’t find an item associated with this number
Any advice as to what's going on is much appreciated.

It will be stuck in Canadian customs. What is inside the package?

Note that failing to attach a CN22 / CN23 customs form, or failing to add the senders address to the outside of the package will cause problems.

Hi and thanks for your reply. I attached the correct CN22 customs form and included by address to the side of the box. There is nothing prohibited within the box, merely xmas gifts such as a wall clock, soft plush toys for children, a few video games..etc

What exactly does "Handed to delivery partner mean"

Maybe Canada post has it and just aren't updating the tracking info?

“Nothing prohibited”: so no batteries in the clock or toys then? Even if they are allowed types of battery, this could cause a delay while they are examined.

Shouldn't either myself or the recipient be informed of any delays or issues?

Hi

has your parcel got delivered? I am in the similar situation as yours..

looks like your parcel has been received on Dec 17th, but cannot find any information from Canada post, how come??
