Need some help with an incorrectly addressed item

Post by flakeybanana »

A few days ago i viewed the tracking and saw that it couldn't be delivered, so I visited the local delivery office to try to catch it before it went back to the sender. Unfortunately I was told that its already gone back, however now the tracking shows it as delivered but I haven't received anything. The lady at the delivery office said the reason it couldn't be delivered is because the sender only wrote my house number and postcode in the address section.

The tracking number is WM118211189GB

“Delivered” can mean delivered back to the sender, as well as delivered to the addressee. Have you asked the sender if they have it back?

I visited the Local delivery office today and they had told me it was delivered in my area but the postie who delivered it says it wasn't him -.-. The lady said she would have to get a manager involved as none is owning up to delivering it.

RM tracking on the website shows a signature, so the PDA will have recorded which postie got the signature and also the GPS location of delivery. The manager would be able to get that information.
