Late special delivery by 1pm
Sent a parcel yesterday to arrive today at 1, the customer I sent It to is complaining about it not arriving. I check the tracking and it says it arrived at Sheffield mail centre at 7pm last night and at 9pm it was on its way to Inverness mail centre , after that there is nothing, so it’s either on its way there still or has arrived but not been scanned , should I be concerned?

Was the postcode on the list of places where SD is guaranteed by 17:30?

This covers some postcodes served by Inverness and obviously affects the point at which it is considered late.
If not in one of those areas then it probably got delayed in transit and will appear on the tracking again sometime tonight. If at all late you can reclaim the postage cost from RM.

I’ve just checked the tracking again and it says the same as it has all day. The postcode I have sent it to is not on that list. I will check the tracking again in the morning, just hope it gets there safely as it an expensive item
