Hi All,
This has probably been answered a million times, but I'm waiting on a small item from the uk to Ireland, latest message says Your item is now leaving the UK. More information will be available when it arrives in the destination country. Service used is internationally tracked and signed. This was on the 6th, might still be early days, but what should I be expecting to see next on the tracking page. Should there been some note saying landed in Ireland or hand over note. I would imagine if it is leaving the uk on the 6th it would be here now. Any thoughts on this. Much appreciated

Depending on the service used, you might next see a tracking point when it leaves customs (and therefore enters the Republic of Ireland) or just when it is delivered. This varies from country to country. In most cases it won’t be scanned into customs.

Many thanks. So when you say leave customs are you referring to UK customs or Ireland ? The service used is
International Tracked & Signed which on royal mail web page says .....tracking within the UK and after leaving the UK, online delivery confirmation and signature on delivery. So i should be seeing some tracking in Ireland

If Anpost does any scans they should show up, but the next definite scan will be when they attempt to deliver.
