Hullo. Just a quick query - I have a parcel from China due which RM tracking indicates as having arrived today at Southwest RDC (which is Bristol, I think?). Does this mean its cleared customs at Langley without fuss, and I can now hopefully look forward to not having to fork out a fee, or could I still receive a little grey card to add to my collection? I haven't been following tracking for it religiously, but it seems to have bypassed Langley entirely as it isn't even mentioned in the parcel's 'journey'.
The seller's company is based in China, but from previous dealings I suspect that they also have a UK warehouse for certain stock and so may have actually sent the item from there, which may be why things seem to be going smoothly so far (this seller is never particularly forthcoming about a parcel's actual point of origin).
No other issues, I only need to get an idea if I can breathe a sigh of relief yet (it's near Christmas, dire financial straits, literally every penny counts, etc).
Thanks in advance.

Ahh, GB !SpacePhoenix wrote:What are the last 2 letters of he tracking number?
So does that mean it's originated in the UK then? I'd always just assumed a parcel was assigned a new GB tracking number once it entered the UK.

It's possible though as they have a UK warehouse it's probably equally possible that they just dispatched it from there insteadwapsbasm wrote:I'd always just assumed a parcel was assigned a new GB tracking number once it entered the UK.

OK, thanks.
So am I right in thinking if it was with UK customs and there was a fee, Langley would be hanging onto it until it was paid rather than letting it get to Southwest RDC?

No, they would still release it but tell the postal company/courier that so much needs collecting. If RM is the carrier then you would get a grey card within a few days.
