Address formatting UK

I have ordered online from a company today and they are posting using guaranteed before 1pm next day.
The problem is the idiots have addresssed the parcel putting the street name then house number rather than the other way round.
The rest of the address is correct.
Will it get here ok?.

Shouldn't be a problem - we get far worse examples of addresses than that come through. It is possible to deliver items with just the surname and correct postcode given the knowledge that us posties hold in our heads. We wouldn't want everyone to do that of course!

I have found out they have addressed my order

First name surname
street name house number
Postcode
Town

So all the info is there but a bit a*se about face!!.

They blamed the computer for putting the info in that format.
I say they should get their IT guy to sort it!.

That's fine. Providing the postcode is correct which is what the mail centres look at then it will arrive at the correct delivery office then be delivered to you.
