Just how pathetic is UK tracking?
On 4 Sept. I posted 4 small parcels with similar electronic (non-prohibited) contents to:
Hong Kong, Taiwan and San Francisco airmail tracked and signed and London SE28 (second class signed for)
8 days later.
The 3 International all show as delivered ok.
The UK states:
We've got it
Your item was posted at Post Office® branch, Sutterton Post Office PE20 2JQ on 04-09-2019. More information will be available once delivery has been attempted.
Anyone any comments please as to why this should be?

Pathetic RM UK tracking!
I have posted items before by recorded/signed for and there can sometimes be a delay in the information coming up on the tracking site. You could try contacting the 'recipient' to ask if they have received the item. Sometimes the recorded label can peel off the item and sometimes for whatever reason the postie might not 'zap' the recorded barcode but it still gets delivered.

UK tracking is perfectly good. But Signed For isn't a tracked service. If you need that, it's Special Delivery.

Was it being sent to a large firm who might get hundreds of items that need signing for each day?

Not sure how large a business, as just a shipping company I think. Unit 3 is the address. Don't know how much post Unit 3 handles though.
