PARCEL FROM SPAIN PLEASE HELP!!!

Got a parcel that was sent out on 14th august using correos the last update was 15th august saying leaving the exchange office and on royal mail tracking says item leaving overseas todays date is the 18th im sure it dont take more than 3 days for item to land in the UK i contacted correos they said the parcel left the origin country on 15th august does anyone know why there is a big delay?

Customs choose random batches of mail for extra checks, your item is probably in one of those batches

Is it the UK customs if so how long does it take normally

By this post it is still in España they must be having trouble over there with it have you contacted them first we cannot deliver any item not in the network/country.

By this post it is still in España they must be having trouble over there with it have you contacted them first we cannot deliver any item not in the network/country.

It's more than likely stuck in customs. Apart from USPS who scan items before they get handed over to customs, no item coming into the UK will get a scan in the UK until customs have released it to Royal Mail

Yep, anything going to any country other than the Channel Islands or Gibraltar is going to need a customs declaration and will have to go through customs coming in, lots more customs charges for SD lockers to deal with

Ah Brexit. I will be surprised if the MPs allow us to leave the EU in the end. We will then know we no longer live in a democratic country and can decide where to go from that point.
