Mad delays at HWDC?
I have three separate packages from eBay stuck in HWDC on three separate days, May 26th June 7th and June 11th. Is there something going on there atm and is anyone else having issues?

Mad delays at HWDC?
I ordered a parcel via Canada Post with untracked shipping about 12 weeks ago. It never arrived....
I then re-ordered the same parcel but used tracked shipping this time. The tracked parcel has been at HWRC for over 2 weeks now. I have tried contacting Canada Post, Royal Mail and HWDC but no one is able to help. With such delays on the tracked parcel, i am starting to think that is probably where the untracked parcel is aswell.

Both cases sound like the contents aren’t allowed by customs or the Dangerous Goods Act. What is in the parcels?

Unfortunately that is not the case for me. Mine contains switches used for mechanical keyboards which is not a prohibited item. It's under the HS Code 8536.Snaggletooth wrote:Both cases sound like the contents aren’t allowed by customs or the Dangerous Goods Act. What is in the parcels?

If I understand correctly what these are, there should be no customs issues, but if oily could cause a problem under the Dangerous Goods Act.mattling9 wrote:Unfortunately that is not the case for me. I can confirm they are not oily. Simply 3 pieces of plastic and q spring. No oil or lubricant is present inside or on the switchSnaggletooth wrote:If I understand correctly what these are, there should be no customs issues, but if oily could cause a problem under the Dangerous Goods Act.mattling9 wrote:Unfortunately that is not the case for me. If you ordered these from an EU-based seller you would definitely be able to claim a refund on the first order by now, and possibly the second too, depending on the terms of your contract with them. If you can't claim direct from the seller, you could try getting a charge back from your credit card company. If both the above fail, you should submit a P58international for the first item (too early for the second), but note that it is really the sender who is supposed to submit the claim, so it won't be easy.
