Package released from customs but never left HWDC. No updates for 2 weeks.

I have a package coming from China, and according to the tracking information it arrived in the UK on the 30th of May and was supposedly released from customs at Langley HWDC the same day, then marked as "in transit". That was the last update and there's been no further information for more than a month now.

I know packages can be held in customs with no information for weeks, but this says it passed customs long ago. The last update was "Your item has left our International Logistics Centre and is on its way to you. More information will be available as it travels through the network."

If this is the case it should have been delivered ages ago, but I'm starting to think it never actually left HWDC. It surely would have had SOME kind of update if it went into Royal Mail's system, wouldn't it?

It's been a month now to the day. It seems my parcel left Langley and immediately vanished (if it even left at all). Is there anything I can do?

You should make a claim from the seller.
