1st class always late - why?

Post by wildcolonialboy »

Greetings

I have first-class packages sent to me once or twice a week. They're not heavy packages, they're like those soft brown ones with bubble wrap material inside, they are sent with 1st class large stamps.

Over the last two months, I think one out of about a dozen has been delivered next day. In fact, two days seems lucky. I had another sent to me Thursday and one yesterday, and haven't received anything yet. One has also gone missing.

I was wondering if you might know why this is? It would be a lot less frustrating if I could understand why these sorts of parcels might not end up at the recipient address the next day,and why this is happening systematically.

There are also times when my building (of eight flats) hasn't received any mail for three days

Where are the parcels coming from uk or overseas?
The letters not coming for a few days indicates that your street is done on overtime and the office cant find any one willing to stay late to deliver it.

They're coming from the UK, from one major city to another.

Most days we do receive some mail but 1st class packages still seem to be taking three to four days. Is there any reason why that might be?
