He fills the form in and follows the instructions on how to send it - it is a Freepost address he sends it so will NOT need a stamp.joseph42485 wrote:I have just spoke to my uncle.. He said he will go in to get the P58inland form today .. After he get the form please what is the next thing?

Apologies, that should have been a P58international form. Clearly I wasn’t fully awake.joseph42485 wrote:How will my uncle get the P58Inland form?

You can’t do anything to speed up customs. However, I suspect that this isn’t a customs problem, rather a failure to follow the strict laws about sending Lithium batteries in the mail.hogiesheroes wrote:it was yes. They should get rejected if they fall foul of the ICAO regulations.hogiesheroes wrote:i wasnt aware but sure am now. Do lithium batteries get through customs or are they rejected? What happens to rejected items. Thanks for your guidance.

Lithium batteries can't be sent on their own, and in the worst case, they can be destroyed if Royal Mail sees fit do so.

Customs would not be a problem in this case, but either mail service could remove the parcel from the system *if* it contravenes the relevant laws.hogiesheroes wrote:i wasnt aware but sure am now.
