That's too long you need to make a claim against the sender, who will get RM to investigate.

Hi, could someone please advise me on the delay of two orders at Langley? The first one RF725156039SG has been at Langley since 13 March, the other RF710086685SG since 19 March. Both orders are films for a instax camera. What could the reason for the delay be? Will I ever receive these orders? Thank you

They're probably stuck in customs. What part of the country are they going to and do they have lithium batteries in them (and if they do any idea how the battery is packed within them)?

Firstly, we can't tell you what has happened as such because we are not Royal Mail.
One suggestion though. Some photographic film is banned from the mail because it is flammable. From RM's website:
Does that describe the film you ordered?

See https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app ... il/a_id/96" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and look for 'Flammable Solids'.Solid materials which are liable to cause fire by friction, absorption of water, spontaneous chemical changes or retained heat from manufacturing or processing, or which can be readily ignited and burn vigorously e.g. ... nitro-cellulose based film ...

I don't think so. These are films for an instant camera. No batteries in them, as its a simple cartridge of 10 films that gets inserted into the Fujifilm instax mini camera, the photograph prints onto the film instantly and ejects itself from the camera. Not sure how they could even be flammable. Going to London.

Nothing to do with batteries. Lots of other things are banned, batteries are just the thing that most frequently causes a problem.
The film is the thing you get processed and comes back as negatives. It is notoriously flammable, both before and after processing. But if what you are expecting is the thing that the print is printed on to, in my unexpert opinion that would be “photographic paper”, not “film”.

Hi, I looked at the NL Post tracking for the watch from China, that is waiting at Langley since 12 March, and saw this:
01-04-2019 09:37 The item has been processed in the country of destination UNITED KINGDOM
26-03-2019 22:48 The item has been processed in the country of destination
12-03-2019 22:07 The item has been processed in the country of destination
I thought that was weird, since the UK Royal Mail tracking has no such detail, I've receive no communication from them, and if it's still at Langley, what does each 'process' refer to?
Any ideas, anyone?

Hi,
I have sent a document (RR444952690HU) under 500g from Hungary to Oxford as a registered priority mail with tracking and notice on delivery, so it should have arrived within 3-5 working days from the 26th of March. However tracking shows that it is stuck at Langley. Is there anything that can be done?
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Good afternoon, I have been expecting a parcel to arrive here in Hungary , it was sent from Mexico on the 8th and then arrived at Langley on the 18th, however the tracking system states that it left the facility on the 30th and it has been apparently forwarded to GLS Hungary. I did call GLS and they claim to not have received yet the item, which is why their own system does not show it. What could be happening here?. I did notice that under the International Incidents bulletins, states that there is an apparent extension of the Customs strike at Calais and Dunkirk. My reference number is RM116367838MX. On other tracking sites it states that the parcel is still stuck at customs at the U.K. Is there ANYWAY to know, how and where it was handled or how the process of handing over to GLS occurs or what route they normally take to Continental Europe?.
Best Regards.
Best Regards.

Its probably going through German customs as the main hub for GLS is based there. Its only 5 days since it entered the system and with the Brexit fiasco ongoing I think all Customs in Europe are struggling as posters try to beat it.

Hi, just an update for other who may be waiting on good at UK customs, my watch from China has now arrived, having spent from 12 March to 6 April in Customs - 3 and a half weeks. No duty since it's an inexpensive item, and no comment, info or update from Customs, it just arrived in my letterbox, but at least the parcel is her now. I thought it may be useful to others to know the timeframe.

have a parcel sent from the US, it reached London on friday.
according to royal mail tracking it was received at Langley HWDC AT 4:35AM today, then left the HWSC International processing centre today at 5am.
why did it go back to the international logistics centre? When i select the RED continue tracking button i end up on DHL german site, tracking number doesnt work there.
USPS tracking has it as departed a transfer airport in Frankfurt Germany at 11:13 today.
why would a package from USA, sent by USPS, arrive in London and then be sent to Frankfurt, and not its address here
ebay says PROCESSED THROUGH OFFICE OF EXCHANGE GB at 5:08am , which is not appears on the royal mail or USPS tracking
doesnt make sense, check this
https://www.parcelmonitor.com/track-it-online" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
tracking number is LZ427231202US put it in at above link
just to add, usually once it arrives in London and clears, it gets flown to belfast, NI. Could it just have been put in the wrong bag, or even a whole bag of UK mail have ended up in frankfurt somehow
