Hey everyone just looking for some advice on a missing parcel, if anyone could help that would be great!
So the parcel was sent 1st class with RM from a PO in Northern Ireland (BT47) on 19/02/2019, going to Liverpool (L1). Assuming it would be next day delivery I gave it 2 - 3 anyway just in case but there was still no sign of it. After another few days checking the tracker it still just stated 'an update will be provided when a delivery attempt is made', so i called into the local PO to check if they maybe forgot to leave the red card but no word from there either.
Have called RM customer service, recommended the lost from in 2 days when its considered lost, tried contacting local delivery office directly too but couldn't get them.
Any recommendations for finding the parcel? Cant replace the lost item and would rather it arrive than the forms to get money back. Ill also be away for a week now on 04/03 and wont be around to receive it if it does (hopefully) arrive.
Any advice is greatly appreciated thanks very much!

It would help a lot if you copied and pasted the tracking information, or the tracking number, into this thread.
Also, are you the sender or the recipient?

If that’s a tracking number, it isn’t a Royal Mail one. Should be two letters then nine numbers then GB. The tracking message you quoted in your first post does not look like RM either. Are you sure this isn’t being delivered by a private carrier?

Just tried the tracking number on a site that can check multiple carriers, it comes up with it being a DHL tracking numberSnaggletooth wrote:If that’s a tracking number, it isn’t a Royal Mail one. Definitely RM i am looking the receipt at the moment, number provided may not be a tracking number but it is the reference,
if you attempt to enter it into the RM tracker yourself you will see and the tracking message I stated
Dont know if the number is different as it is Northern Ireland or if its because its not fully tracked package
also tried DHL and no parcel was found with the number.

That might be a 2d bar code and maybe the sender didn`t paid the correct postage and you might get a grey card with a fee to pay on it.
