i have heard that a D.O. in essex was asked to go back to 5am starts until after xmas in order to clear the backlog, particularly packets. i don,t know the outcome of that request but i hope it was a no, as we have agreed that any changes in our area are agreed with all the other do,s. hope this isn,t the start of " local negotiations " and that rep,s discuss this with the area rep first.

Sent to the hub!

Post by ray of sunshine »

Rumour spreading through our office is, if we wont do overtime on our walks we will be sent to the kings norton hub to sort mail all over xmas! :mad :mad
I an pretty annoyed if this is true, as last xmas i was out delivering mail until 3.30pm!!!
However i have to pick one son up from the childminders at 2.50pm and the other one from nursey at 4pm and i would much prefer to be delivering the mail then be told i have to go to the hub.

will let u know what the xmas arrangements will be :cuppa :cuppa :cuppa
