i have heard that a D.O. in essex was asked to go back to 5am starts until after xmas in order to clear the backlog, particularly packets. i don,t know the outcome of that request but i hope it was a no, as we have agreed that any changes in our area are agreed with all the other do,s. hope this isn,t the start of " local negotiations " and that rep,s discuss this with the area rep first.

Sent to the hub!
Rumour spreading through our office is, if we wont do overtime on our walks we will be sent to the kings norton hub to sort mail all over xmas!
I an pretty annoyed if this is true, as last xmas i was out delivering mail until 3.30pm!!!
However i have to pick one son up from the childminders at 2.50pm and the other one from nursey at 4pm and i would much prefer to be delivering the mail then be told i have to go to the hub.
will let u know what the xmas arrangements will be
