Having checked the tracking, it isn't stuck at Langley. Langley is the last place it was tracked, when it left there. It may be stuck in Nigerian customs. But you should also check with the local Post Office to make sure it hasn't arrived, in case it is just an issue with the tracking at the Nigerian end.

Hi there,
My letter RR201775949PL, containing a sheet of paper has been stuck there since 8th of November. Nobody at RM Customer Service can tell me what's going on. Every person I speak to tells me something different. Any chance the letter will ever be delivered? It contains important document... Why would it be stuck at customs?

Yes

Batches are stopped at random for extra checks, your item is probably in one of those batches.

Hi,
Does anybody know how long this unexpected extra checks may take? My parcel (RA638790888RU) got stuck in customs for 2 weeks already.
Thanks,
Ollie
It all depends on what the item is, but with Russia, there are various sanctions in place, and perhaps coming into place. It usually won't affect normal citizens however, it does mean they will make more checks.
It happens on me as well, . , but the parcel was delivered to HongKong, and stayed in the transit HWDC for 10 days now, help you help me telling what happened?

I have a question, like most the problem seems to be a parcel stuck at Lankley(This item has been received at LANGLEY HWDC, United Kingdom. More information will be available as it travels through our UK network.)

We have an online business and have been sending items to the UK for years and only this year we have had so many problems with items not even being delivered once they enter Lankley. We post from Greece which means we are in the EU and we have never had a problem. ( Well many issues with royal mail not scanning items with no proof of delivery and wrong notifications, but thats is for another time.)

Why have things changed, we now have so many customers asking where there item is and when we track we are getting the same notification,)This item has been received at LANGLEY HWDC, United Kingdom. More information will be available as it travels through our UK network.)

This is not going to help our reputation, we sell nothing untoward calendars, Greek souvenirs books ads etc. The last item stuck is personal to a grandparent in a UK nursing home, only photos and a card.

Would this have anything to do with Brexit?

We are just getting so frustrated having this happen so often. A personal item I sent August 21 2018 has never turned up to the customer in the UK so I am now waiting for a payment claim. Just so frustrated. I hope some one can spread some light.

It has probably gone for extra checking in customs.

As it has now been 5 weeks since you sent it, you should claim back the cost of sending and the value of the contents from the Polish postal service.
