DELAYED/LOST PARCEL

I sent a parcel within the UK first class and has still not arrived after 8 days.
Tried the customer service line but they don't seem to recognise my Scottish accent and can't get the ref no. correct.
Are there any other options to get in touch with customer service e.g. live web chat ?

on Twitter @RoyalMailHelp is the customer service one and @royalmail is the corporate one, both are pretty good.
