She did not leave by choice she was removed.
Watch out for more going and unfortunately a certain hawk from Scotland coming back.
Reco assumption is that the union have taken the 5% pay rise , the SWW and we have sidelined the trials , efficiency is falling due to letter traffic decline and in particular due to GDPR ( new data protection ) and quality is the worse it has been since there was a regulator introduced into the industry.
So it seems that Reco has decided to bring the hawks back into play ! I think we are going to have more flash points and problem from now on ! Interesting times

It's probably some director who has fecked up before and was shunted off to the Eastern Front (otherwise known as Scotland) only to return in triumph.leolion855 wrote:dingo wrote:She did not leave by choice she was removed.

As your new I wouldn't be too arsed about it as after all Terry has a big fecking stick to beat these with... unfortunately for us all it's more of a tickling stick.
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.

So one of the few female CEOs of a major UK company leaves and the next most senior female representative at board level is ousted and Rico decides it's time to wave his genitals about.dingo wrote:She did not leave by choice she was removed......
No wonder this company is called a dinosaur.....I'm glad I sold my shares and invested them in plentyoffish.com

I agree we need more women in higher up roles within RM. I don't think the decisions Moya & Sue made were good though and they steered the company down a bad path.Woody Guthrie wrote:So one of the few female CEOs of a major UK company leaves and the next most senior female representative at board level is ousted and Rico decides it's time to wave his genitals about.dingo wrote:She did not leave by choice she was removed......

I think if we're honest privatisation could have been a lot more painful for us, the union obviously felt they could work with Moya and her team and the bulk of the changes we've had to endure are mostly the result of automation and a changing market than any over zealous drive for efficiency.Celgar wrote:I agree we need more women in higher up roles within RM. If I were to criticise Moya for any particular failure it was the missed opportunity to change the management culture of the business. We are still stuck with the same primark shirt wearing pseudo-macho bullshit artists that have failed the business for 20 years.
It seems by dingo's post like Lazarus of the Four Days one of the prime examples of this culture has risen from the dead. Coincidentally in the story of Lazarus the narrator John simply states.....Jesus wept.
