So when your back gives out you won't claim it was work related. This is the attitude that undermines everything.

Ah, I remember when we had bag carriers. They where the easiest walks ever! People used to be fighting over doing them in overtime. Can't believe they still exist or if they do I bet they aren't as easy anymore

you try carrying 14 bundles plus packets in 2 bags and that's just 1 loop, only decent thing on my round is you can cut across most people's gardens so the loops don't take too long

To be fair that's always a bonus, cuts plenty of time off loops if you can cut across the fronts of houses. But you will always get one awkward git who will try and block your shortcut with a plant pot!

"The claimant was aware he was required to personally deliver the
Door-to-Door mail, he failed to do so and was aware dismissal for misconduct could
result due to the seriousness of breaching the contractual agreement between the
respondent and its client in a highly competitive business. It was so important that
the claimant was paid extra when Door-to-Door mail was delivered by him,"

...and then there's no need for the DOM to take any delivery points off your walk.

Then get the DOM to walk the loop with you with a trolley and see how long it is. Do the job correctly :arrrghhh

You are right. On the introduction of shared vans LWTs became mandatory not optional. So beware bag carriers you may be deemed to be uninsured if you sustain any injury whilst carrying a bag to deliver. Probably why RM never seem to push the issue of LWT usage.

There is no limit on the number of contracts/week.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I was wondering this myself. The Aldi''s catalogues are ridiculous.
