No Package delivered

hi,
I received an email early this morning from royal mail stating that my parcel had been delivered. This was allegedly at 4:30am as it states on the tracker. My parcel is definitely not here, i've checked everywhere outside. It seems extremely strange that someone would deliver a parcel at 4:30 am on a sunday. I wouldn't have thought it would be with a neighbor due to the time and the absence of a calling card... Is this just a false entry on the system or someting?

Looking at the sender's name, did the package originate from China?

I beleive it was a UK based seller, because it was only due to take 2-3 days (1st Class).

Chinese sellers on eBay all claim to be UK based when in reality they are not.
Not sure why it would matter as the issue appears to be with the delivery.

Looks as though you were spot on - according to T&T it was delivered at 1050 odd today.
