Lost Parcel

Post by Someone9989 »

I’ve ordered a parcel from the USA, it has not been 7 days which is usually how long it takes. The parcel has gone from New York to Spain when it was meant to arrive in London which is odd. It’s been 4 days which on the last tracking service it stated your item departed a transfer airport in Barajas, Madrid. I’m not sure why it has gone to Spain as it should come straight to London, any thoughts why it has been sitting in Spain, it states it has left a transfer airport but has never arrived, what’s going on ?

1. To Spain - Simple Human error probably.

2. From Spain - depends on what their normal process is for wrongly directed parcels, they may return it to the US on send it onward to the UK. Without a tracking number its difficult to say which (even with it may be impossible).

3. Whether its gone back to the US or is on its way to the UK, the most likely cause of the hold up is Customs, they have to do certain checks and if your parcel is in the bath chosen it can delay things.

That doesn't affect anything I've posted above. As I said it was probably sent to Spain in error.

I understand, at first I thought you meant as in human error from the sender. Thank you for your reply
