Hi,
So I have this package coming in from the UK to Canada. According to the tracking system on Royal Mail's website, it "Item leaving the UK - Langley HWDC" early Friday August 10th. There hasn't been any updates since and it doesn't show up on Canada Post's website either. Is this normal? It's my first time ordering from the UK and according to RM's website, it should be delivered in Canada in about 5 to 7 days. I just find it weird that it hasn't updated since the 10th.

It's probably stuck in Canadian customs, is there anything in it that might cause it to be refused entry into Canada, also was the return address on the front of the item?

I don't think so. Well the sender sent me a photo of the package and his address is on the label too. It's my first time ordering from the UK and Royal Mail's website seems to be useless. I called my local mail provider and they advised me that Canada Post does not track this registered mail service from the UK so... In other words, I can't really track it... very frustrating..

If it disappeared at that point then it is almost certainly stuck in customs: no customs service anywhere in the world runs tracking while in the care of customs.
To re-state Space Phoenix’s question above, what is inside the package? That could be the problem.
