Dear Royal Mail postal people,
My mother mailed me an end to end tracked package for my birthday. I live in BC Canada. Sadly it never arrived and when the Royal Mail tracking number is entered into the Royal Mail site, it comes up as 'leaving Langley HWDC' on 13 July 2018 at 5:12am. It's now 15 August 2018 and still nothing has arrived.
I've chased from the Canada Post end - which recognizes the tracking number as valid but promises the number is not in its system. I am now at a loss as to what to do.
Needless to say my mother is really upset as she paid for the end to end tracking to hopefully prevent the package from disappearing. I since found out it contains a silk scarf - not exactly a terrorist threat or in breech of any international trade quota's, tariffs or laws.
The tracking number is: RN471491414GB
If someone at Royal Mail could help, I would be eternally grateful. It would also cheer my aging mother up no end and bring a smile to her face.
Thank you
Julia

Might be worth contacting Canadian Customs to ask them if they had any issues with it. Canadian Customs seem to be one of the strictest if not the strictest of any country
