Alternatively they know full well if they just swopped the people over doing the rounds the smaller duties would become to big and the supposed monster rounds wouldnt be that bad anymore.postslippete wrote:TheTrolleyMan wrote:What's the point when area CWU reps are not challenging management to even / balance out work loads ?
Management know full well that some duties badly need a few loops added on whilst others need loops taken off - but don't want to do it because they don't want the aggro. I seriously question whether we need managers in Royal Mail at all.

True. Not that royal mail will see it that way.Jpro747 wrote:It may cost them to put more hours into offices, however if ppl do the job properly perhaps they could save money on things like accidents, sickness, mistakes, etc.citypostie wrote:That's exactly what will happen when they realise that they can't make runners take more because they just slow down and that they've got loads of rounds they can't cover when they stop people ghosting up and down the country. Their only option to get the work done will be to fill all the vacancies and then have to pay people when they are on sick or holiday instead of just paying someone to rush round and get it done on overtimeworktotime wrote:lets hope its not just a sweep it under carpet if the company aren't going to get anything out of it . the cwu should be making sure the company stick to this agreement and all that's in it
