Hell Team,

Really need help.

I had to give a pre-paid special delivery envelop to the London Visa office so that they can send me the VISA and other important originals documents.

So I purchased a A4 size letter and got a £ 6.5 Stamp for Guaranteed delivery and special delivery TAG on that A4 size letter. Then this letter was scanned at that post office and given back to me so that I can give it to the London Visa office.

So can the London Visa office still send the Special delivery letter to me via a Post office in London?

It would be really helpful if someone can help me in this.

As far as I can tell, yes that should be fine. Although not sure why your Post Office scanned it, but it shouldn't cause any problems.
All post by me in Green are Admin Posts.

Sorry to contradict TBT but no, the P.O. should not have scanned the barcode, assuming that you are talking about a barcode on the envelope coming back to you. However, you can easily fix it in this case by getting another SD label from any PO and replacing the barcode label. Don’t forget to take a note of the new barcode number.

Thanks for the replies so far.

I have handed over the Special delivery Stamped letter to the London Visa office some days back, so I cannot change that now.

But if my Visa office, sends it through a London Post Office, will that alteast get delivered to me ? I am ready to pay the Fees for the same.

I really need that documents delivered to me as it contains Passport.
