The controllers either hold buses at stops or terminate them early to ensure a smoother flow.

Do the walk logs actually get updated in DOs (do all walks even have a walk log)?POSTMAN wrote:and the union says... was this the rep?
You should have toilet stops on your walk log,be it or to come back to the office. you should have toilet stops on your 318, you should have had toilet stops during the revision process, your rep should be on the ball with this, there are a lot of should's in this game and wankey reps and bodged revisions!
Yes they are meant to be updated with info such as problem dogs and house name changes etc. Certainly the computer side of this gets updated although I'm not sure on the red file walk logs on the actual frames. RM appears to want to put this and other info on the PDAs. Regarding toilet stops I think it's likely only toilets accessible by the public are listed on walk logs. I think we have two public toilets on two separate walks and one of those is 50 yards from the delivery office. No one has mentioned women posties for which it would be a real problem. We don't currently have any women posties in our office.SpacePhoenix wrote:Do the walk logs actually get updated in DOs (do all walks even have a walk log)?POSTMAN wrote:and the union says... was this the rep?

I was sent to one office and the walk log was still for bikes!SpacePhoenix wrote:Do the walk logs actually get updated in DOs (do all walks even have a walk log)?POSTMAN wrote:and the union says... was this the rep?

many postman have been done for this. so the chance of it happening isnt as low as you thinknumber one wrote:The chance of being caught is ziltch. Are you telling me you would rather pee yourself than take the risk of a police officer going past at the exact same time as you’re doing it? Also you don’t do it in full view of everybody!aiden01 wrote:And face a fine for urinating in public.number one wrote:Onece you fail to find any Doctors, hospitals, pubs, cafes, fast food restaurants or business premises then go back to the office. Surely you know when you need the loo and do what’s necessary so you don’t have an “accident”. Just go and find a toilet!!bogues2009 wrote:We had 2 incidents recently in our DO where p/t colleagues had an ‘accident’ due to being on new duty/not knowing the area and how long will it take to deliver etc..they were very embarrassed and worried that our DOM will find out and mention it during brief as he likes to embarrass people in front of everybody! There are no toilet facilities mentioned in log books and the Union says we are still ‘kind of’ public company and have a ‘historic’ right to use toilet facilities of pubs, shops, businesses etc. Where do we stand? Is it a policy which deals with it? Can we insist on using toilets only in our DO and therefore insist on coming back every time during delivery? Are we insured when using toilets in customers houses etc? I know it is easy when you have your own duty and know where you go when you need it but for new starters it is stressful...:(
Nah , think the nappies would be too costly for RM, their more likely to go for fittingJpro747 wrote:RM standard issue nappies coming to an office near you!
What if you don't have a van?bobsworth wrote:If there are no facilities or secluded spots on the route why not use one of those portable urinals and relieve yourself in the van? Or is there a rule against that...?

Or indeed a portable urinal.
Still on bikes here with no walk logs so that would be an update for us.Xr4 wrote:I was sent to one office and the walk log was still for bikes!SpacePhoenix wrote:Do the walk logs actually get updated in DOs (do all walks even have a walk log)?POSTMAN wrote:and the union says... was this the rep?
