Is it against your code of conduct to ask out a customer whilst you're on duty?

Probably not. I wouldn't do it personally though as it could end beingLuckyLyn wrote:Is it against your code of conduct to ask out a customer whilst you're on duty?

If they said no though, couldn't you just move routes?

Moving duties is a real pain in the bum and can take years to arrange.

No harm in asking him out, just make sure he isn't married!

No way, I never could! Even though it's a pain he could at least move duties but there's nothing I could do if he said no, I'd have to keep on seeing him and it would be mortifying

I really enjoy doing my walk. I would probably leave the job entirely rather than switch to another walk. It's not an easy walk - in fact it's the second longest in our DO but I like all the customers and the area.LuckyLyn wrote:If they said no though, couldn't you just move routes?

Haha I understand your worries. But you are not going to have a chance with him if you don't make a move. You should have given him a Christmas card with your number in it lol, oh well you could always wait til next December! If he says no, you could leave a box in your garden as a "safe place" for parcels and just not answer the doorLuckyLyn wrote:Interested-seeker wrote:No harm in asking him out, just make sure he isn't married!

I've tried finding out if he's single or not and he's never mentioned a partner of any kind, he always just refers to himself. So I'm thinking he's not but can't be sure. He could be gay. I can't work out if he's interested or not...
