Central mail delivery

Post by Maybach_man »

Hello.

I'm looking for some advise. I have a chalet on a park with another 200 or so. For about the last 20 years (that I know of) the park has provided a central secure area for the postie to deliver all the mail. Recently they have had a reorganisation and have decided they are no longer going to accept the mail and have informed us that we need to make alternative arrangements. I went and had a chat with the local sorting office, who said that as the chalets were not individually listed on their system they would not be able to deliver mail to mine individually. I have looked at the PO web site and it says that there are various conditions that would have to apply for an individual delivery to be made. We meet all the conditions, but I am aware that the postie will now have another 200 or so deliveries to make. Any solutions?

Thanks
