Misrooted???.so what should i do about it.should i need contact usps???.where is it now.+shouldn i need to pay any vat+customs for my package to be released.w8t will i ever receive my package???.

Hey,pls tell what should i do for this sitiation.my package supposed go to in india.where will my package now.is it with customs.then how long it will take customs to release my package.its frustating.lol.

So i need to w8t.from this i can understand that how stupid usps service is.this is 1st and last time i chosen this service.no more usps.anyways iam asked my seller to contact usps.if i didnt get my package.i need to ask refund from the seller.hope my package gets to me.

Hey,my package in india now 
.its reached here 4 days before.so my package didnt get misrouted 
.it went to uk first then to india.i am half relief about my package.now its in my country.but still need to eorry about customs though.the package is in my state i guess.i hope nothing happens to my package in customs and deliver it to me.

May i know when you got you parcel at home? I am in same boat as you but week later. My parcel was in UK on 7th April 2018 and is still showing departed from UK.

My parcel reached my home 4 days ago on 12th april2018.so u also having same promblem as me.ok where did you send your package to which country?or which is the destination country your package is to delivered?.if its india.usps taking uk route to deliver packages to india foreign post offices.it may take 5-10 days to deliver.all i can say is wait.after 10 days it still dont show in destination country.contact usps or ask sender to contact usps.if you are in us it will be no promblem for you to contact usps even if your not sender.so iam telling to wait.the package will show up.

So to all people who are living in india about this same situation i faced all i can tell is to wait.because usps is following uk route to deliver parcels to india.so no need to worry indians .my another friend who is living in my state faced same situation.so i can tell if that is the promblem "departed heathrow airport"they are taking uk airport route to a india foreign post office to deliver.ok.just wait 5-10 days.

Hi there - I'm dealing with a similar issue and hope someone can help me interpret the meaning of what I'm seeing in my package tracking. Basically, I can't tell who has my package and thus who I should contact - so any insight appreciated! My package (my wedding ring!!) was mailed to me from Washington, DC USA via USPS to London, UK. I was expecting it weeks ago, and have tried calling USPS, Royal Mail, Customs office, and Parcel Force - everyone says they don't have the package, and someone else does. I'm seeing the following in the USPS tracking...should I interpret that my package was held up at Heathrow, and if so, who likely has it (Royal Mail? Customs?) and is there anyone I can contact? Just to note, I have received no notification of any kind i.e. a gray slip.

Yes there is definitely a customs charge to pay.
However the status:
"Your item could not be delivered on March 30, 2018 at 11:21 pm in UNITED KINGDOM due to payment of charges. It is being held while the addressee is notified."
is not one I would recognise as a Royal Mail scan.
If you have the tracking number it may help us further.

When I put it into the Royal Mail tracking, it recognizes the package as from the U.S. but says "The system is currently unable to confirm the status of your item with reference RB697635867US. Please try again later"

That has me stumped if I am honest.
The USPS status would indicate that a grey card had been sent out by the local Delivery Office.
However, Royal Mail shows no record of it entering their system, which it would have done if a grey card had been sent out.
The only possibilities are that it has not entered RMs systems and is still stuck in Customs for some reason (possible), that is has reached the Delivery Office and you missed the Grey Card (unlikely) or for some reason, it has been passed to another courier to deliver it (unlikely) or that it has been damaged in transit and the tracking code is unreadable (least likely).
I would now contact both USPS and Royal Mail and insist on it being investigated.
However, my gut feeling is that for some reason its stuck in customs which RM and USPS have no control over. Also, as far as I know, Customs does not have a tracking system for anything they hold so not sure how they can be so certain they don't have it.
Sorry, I couldn't help further and I hope my guts right and it turns up soon.

Sorry to hijack this thread, I've a parcel from Singapore which arrived on 9th April at Heathrow WDC for a delivery to a UK address. I asked Royal Mail yesterday and they said that the parcel is not with them, and is either lost, or held at customs. I'm just wondering if there's anyway of knowing whether the parcel is stuck at customs, or would I just have to be patient and wait? Thank you.
